50!

I never thought that I would've posted 3 entries, let-alone 50. This is cool, though. Here's to 50 more! Shot in the Nevada desert, circa 2003 (how the hell was that seven years ago?).

Another view that I greatly miss; across the river.

Much earlier in this blog, there are some behind-the-scenes images from an Adidas shoot that I was a digital technician on, in LA with Graeme Mitchell. He just posted the final pictures. They look great!

Portland Update:
Many said there’d be rain, and all I've seen is sun! Portland in the summer is like winter in Tahiti; sunny. Although I understand this trend is sloping downward towards an ultimate wet, and soggy winter, I couldn’t be happier here.
Since I arrived, there has been ample time to get acquainted with the city, the culture, and the very relevant shock of the lack of 24 hour delis. Shout-out definitely is in order for the crew over at Perdition. Thus far, this town is lacking a good Irish pub, although the micro-brew houses aren’t too hard to get used to.
Another gem I have discovered in Portland: Zip Cars. Why do I want to pay for gas, and insurance, when I can rent a BMW for 12 bucks an hour and not pay any of that! Having utilized my Zip Car Subaru Outback (shit, those things are everywhere out here) I made our way over to Cannon Beach. Someone told me that they filmed The Goonies out there, and if thats true, then it’s the coolest place in the world. See image below:

I cut an entire watermelon tonight, and looked over in the sink and thought, "that would look cool I suppose".

Here are the images from Graeme Mitchells shoot in Queens. One of the hottest shoots I've worked on. Had to have been 95 degrees that day.

37.

These are from a few months ago, when I assisted on set with Roger Hagadone. Shot in Jack studios and Sandbox studios in New York. The first image was for Legal Seafood. Funny and definitely a smelly shoot, second one was for lyrica.

Here are some musings from Nathaniel Goldberg. His location work is exceptional, especially the first image in this series. Nathaniel, call me (says while holding his hand in the universal sign for 'phone' next to face).

First time assisting here in Portland. Was working with Michael Jones on a job for rejuvenation, a hardware company here. Shoot was two days, and two different locations. Lotsa fun.
